10m Semi Anechoic chamber

EMCT-10 is a semi-anechoic chamber designed in accordance with the test distance 10m, including the main anechoic chamber, shielding control room and amplifier room (optional conduction test shielding room) for compatible radiation immunity test(in 3m distance) and radiation emission test in 10m or 3m distance.Our 10m chamber can come with the mandatory regulation contained in the following standards, such as CISPR, EN, IEC and GB, GJB, FCC.

Product Overview

10 meters anechoic chamber is the most popular standard testing environment, which can meet the test requirements of large-size electronic systems as well as a number of electronic products based on the industry standards testing requirements, and also can be used to do 3m method test. The quiet zone can be extended to 5 m or 8 m in diameter or larger. The chamber can be widely used in IT products, household appliances, medical equipment, automobile and parts, large-scale military electronics systems, industrial electronic systems, communications and other fields of electromagnetic compatibility testing. Plus with the dynamometer system can complete EMC test project of road vehicles.

Reference Configuration

• The typical inner shielding size: 21m (length) × 12m (width) × 9m (high).

• Shielding structure: Using 'Smart Shield Twin Wall' which is the double shielding structure, from the inside to the outside in the order of below: the high-performance hybrid absorber(pyramid absorber plus ferrite tile), antiseptic plywood, shielding plates and standard shielded module, the conductive shielding gasket is used between two adjacent standard shielded module, to ensure the good RF shielding and electrical contact connection.

• Standard shielded module: typical size of 3m × 1m, the module using the 2mm thick double-sided galvanized steel sheet, and bending twice in four sides. The thickness of the double-sided galvanized steel sheet is thicker than 2mm, zinc coating thickness ≥20μm, and uniform thickness. Between modules, M10 screw will be used for connection, and the strength grade of the screws is 8 or above.

• Absorber structure: The low frequency absorber Ferrite tile (100mm × 100mm × 6.7mm) which consisting of nickel zinc ferromanganese material and high-performance hybrid absorber(pyramid absorber) will be used on the wall (available separately selected as desired); the movable floor absorber material consists of pyramid absorber and the ferrite tile. Absorber material can be covered with white cap for beautifying the environment and increase the brightness inside the chamber.

• Shielding Door: 2m × 2m or 3m × 3m or other selectable larger dimension size, and other special size can also be designed according to the requirement. For a typical settings, one employees access door(0.9m × 2m) is recommended, the type of the doors can be manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic sliding door;

• Attenuvents: typical size of 600mm × 600mm (with flange), cut-off frequency is 18GHz, other size or shape can additionally be selected as desired;

• Embedded Turntable: typical diameter of 4m, loading capacity of 3 tons, and other types of turntable can be customized ordered according to requirements;

• Raised floor: capacity of heavy loading area is 3 tons / m2, other areas of 1 t / m2, typical height is 1250px;

• Filter: Different type and rating of filter can be ordered for the power supply or signal filtering, for example AC380V, 220V, 110V, DC and signal filtering like network communications and telephone

• Antenna Tower: lift up to 4m height with automatically horizontal and vertical polarization, all types of antenna can be installed by using different antenna adapter, 6m height antenna tower is also selectable.

• Video system: 2 sets of digital color surveillance systems, one set is fixed to the wall, and the other set is movable on the ground;

• Voice system: to ensure the smooth communication between the main chamber and the control room;

• Fire alarm system: high sensitivity air sampling and analysis system, in line with the relevant provisions of Chinese Ministry of Public Security fire products;

• Lighting system: halogen lights, the illuminant value at 1m above the ground is 250Lux, automatically raised function can be selected;

• Lifting platform: ease for big and heavy EUT to access the main chamber, self-elevating platform can be customized ordering according to the size of the main shielding door;

• Exhaust system: responsible for vehicle exhaust emissions to chamber outdoors, make sure the air inside chamber is clear;

• Cooling system: In order to properly test the vehicle or other high-temperature products, provide a strong cold wind into the chamber

• Dynamometer system: In order to meet the electromagnetic compatibility test standard for road vehicles, dynamometer system can be customized ordered according to vehicle type.

Performance

EMCT-10 the 10m chamber can be used to perform full compliance radiated immunity test for IEC/EN 61000-4-3 requirement in 3m distance.

Field uniformity of 0~6dB is achieved in the test area over the frequency range of 26MHz-18GHz, which test area is the vertical plane of 1.5m x 1.5m and from 0.8m to 2.3m above the ground, following the field uniformity test procedure of IEC 61000-4-3.

EMCT-10 the 10m chamber can be used to perform full compliance radiated emission test for ANSI63.4 (FCC), EN50147-2, CISPR11/EN55011/GB4824, CISPR16/EN55016 /GB6113, GJB151A/152A, GJB151B test requirement

At 10m test distance, the NSA(Normalized Site Attenuation) deviation is better than ±4dB from theoretical NSA over the frequency range of 30MHz-1GHz within a cylindrical quiet zone of 4m diameter and 2m height, other size of quiet zone or performance of NSA(±3.5dB,± 3.0dB,±2.5dB) can be fulfilled according the customer requirement. Inside 10m chamber the quiet zone at 3m or 5m test distance can be a cylinder up to 2m or 3m diameter.

•SVSWR(Site voltage standing-wave ratio): According to CISPR16-1-4, over the frequency range of 1-18GHz, the site voltage standing-wave ratio is in the range of 0~6dB within 2m diameter and 2m height cylindrical quiet zone in 3m test distance. According to the customer requirement the 10m distance test within 4m diameter 2m height quiet zone(or other size of quiet zone) can be fulfilled, and SVSWR is in range of 0~6dB or better.

• Shielding Efficiency: Satisfy with EN50147-1 standard or better
• Ambient Noise
(ABN):Without EUT,but other auxiliary devices like turntable, antenna master, CCTV in operation, the ambient noise inside the chamber is 10dB below than the limit value of Class B of CISPR22 standard.
